A collection of my course studies while in the Master of Arts in Educational Technology program at Michigan State University.
Summer 2021
This semester I took Creativity in K12 Computing Education (CEP 833), Electronic Assessment (CEP 813), and Capstone Ed Technology (CEP 807).
CEP 833: Through this course I was able to explore creativity and computing through a creative spiral. I was able to see how students can perform, learn, and create in relationship to computer science while being creative. I was introduced to new technologies and was able to play with them to find ways to incorporate them into my classroom.

CEP 813: I was introduced to the foundational theories of assessments. I examined the different methods of assessments and digital tools that can help educators gather information to make pedagogical choices.

CEP 807: In this course, I created an online portfolio showcasing my work in the MAET program.

This semester I took Learning in School and Other Settings (CEP 800), Technology and Leadership (CEP 815), and Approaches to Educational Research (CEP 822).
CEP 800: In this course I was able to look at many different theories beyond learning and apply that it my learning experiences. I focused on behaviorism, multiple types of cognitivism, and socio-cultural perspectives. I can look at learning phenomena from different perspectives and understand how learning can occur in school and in other settings.

CEP 815: Through this course I developed as a technology leader. I looked at the aims of education, the history and evolution of technology, principles of leadership, and the intersection of these three elements. I was able to self-reflect and see where I am as a leader now and how I can grow to be a better leader. I looked at the relationship between technology and leadership.

CEP 822: This course covered the basics of educational research. I looked at different theories and engaged in exploring research design. I was able to dive into research and write my own paper on a topic of my chosen to see how research supports my ideas.

This semester I took Teaching Students Online (CEP 820). In this class we look at how to bring the world into our classroom using technology. We use technology to help share and communicate our ideas with others. We explored different learning management systems to ensure teaching and learning success.

Summer 2018
This semester I took Teaching for Understanding with Technology (CEP 810), Adapting Innovative Technologies in Education (CEP 811), and Applying Education Technology to Issues of Practice (CEP 812) blended together. These courses covered the introduction of theories of learning, mindset of making, and address a range of teaching and education-related problems. I was introduced to the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework (Mishra & Koehler, 2006). I created learning experiences based on 21st century learning ideals and explored solving wicked problems.
